Smoothies are the perfect morning meal, snack or before bed treat. In this blog, you will discover 20 smoothies to start your day off right.

Smoothies are a versatile meal that can be packed with a variety of nutritious fruits and veggies. Health Canada recommends, for best health, that everyone eats a minimum of 7-10 fruits and vegetables per day.  This intake of fresh produce will provide you with an abundance of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibre and more that will heal, repair and build your body as well as help your body detox and release excess body fat.

The following smoothies were developed by a variety of my colleagues who are involved in a movement called the Healthy Living Revolution. This movement is one that is lead by health care professionals, parents and people just like you who want to inspire healthy living around the world.

You may have noticed that each one of these recipes calls for the Juice Plus Complete shake mix powder. However, you can always substitute any vanilla or chocolate protein, or meal replacement, shake with this ingredient or simply use cacao powder or a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
