This mint hot chocolate recipe is vegan and uses pure essential oils and superfood ingredients to boost the nutritional value and flavour.
The essential oil I used in this recipe is peppermint oil. This oil has been shown to give fresh breath and boost energy.
Mint Hot Chocolate
This refreshing spin on traditional hot chocolate uses pure vegan ingredients and essential oils to boost the nutrient value and flavour.
- 2 cups organic peppermint tea steeped
- 4 fresh dates pitted
- 2/3 cup hemp seeds
- 4 Tbsp cacao powder
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 4 drops pure peppermint essential oil
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
Blend until frothy and serve.
