Almond Milk

Fresh almond milk is easy to make and tastes much better than the store-bought version. You can drink this beverage as is or use it as a base to make chocolate almond milk or almond nog.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almonds, raw & organic
  • 6 cups water, filtered or best quality spring
  • 4 dates, pitted
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Soak almonds overnight in filtered water.
  2. Pour water and almonds in a strainer to drain the water and rinse. 

  3. Place all ingredients in high speed bender and blend until all almonds have been broken down. 

  4. Strain milk through a nut milk bag.

Recipe Notes

You can use the almond meal for a raw dessert.
